Lynn Caddels-Caldwell
Lynn has been involved with art and model horses since childhood. Her family had a Breyer dealership for their gift and craft store, and Lynn’s passion for horses has led her into a multi-facetted career in the creative side of the horse industry.
She is fully trained in fine arts in many media, at college she specialized in art, photography & sculpture, and worked for 25 years as a commissioned equine portrait artist. Eventually, her photography business overtook the portrait work, and she has been a professional horse show photographer and graphic designer since 1998. Lynn’s photograph of the Clydesdale stallion, SBH Phoenix, was chosen by Breyer for their packaging and promotional materials for their portrait model of him.
This sparked Lynn’s interest in custom painted model horses, and she began to successfully show her custom models at live model horse shows, winning numerous championships, including some at NAN. Now her work with model horses has brought her full circle back to her fine art roots, producing commissions and portrait models, and competing at live model shows.
Lynn also owned two beautiful Arabian horses, which she trained, showed and enjoyed, for 35 years.
