My name is Elżbieta Zarzecka. I'm artist from Poland, born in 1995.

As many people I love horses since I remember but I had only occasional contact with them. I like horseriding but much more I'm enjoying simply view of them. Also I'm keen of history, horses were part of it, which makes a perfect combination for me. I have in mind some projects connecting this two lines that you will see in future.

I've been in model horse hobby known as Metalfish since 2007. In 2009 I repainted my first model. Currently I'm self employed as model horse painter. Sometimes I'm taking second job which slows down works on models. As if this was not enough I'm studying Tourism and Recreation at WSB Univeristy in Chorzów.

While working on models my main goal is to achieve the effect where with the right scenery model in the picture looks lifelike. In past I was using pastels and earth pigments. Now after years of practising and experimenting I found techniques, paints and mediums that works perfectly for me. Oils and watercolors are my best friends. Of course do not forget about acrylics - without them I would not made a half or more of details that I care a lot! Details and finishwork became my obsession - I'm still trying to upgrade my skills to maximum satisfaction.
