Julia Harmon
Hi, my name is Julia Harmon and I am the owner and creator of HQH Tackshop. My specialty is machine embroidered western saddle pads. These miniature pad designs are sewn as close to a real woven wool saddle pad as possible and are available in a multitude of colors and designs.
I have been in the model horse hobby for close to 50 years, originally just a collector, then as a photo shower. When live shows appeared on the scene I immediately jumped in and started making tack and props to use in the performance classes. I have shown at and won many performance classes and divisions at Breyerfest and have had to retire my fair share of models because of their success at this show. I also have won quite a few Championships and Reserves at NAN.
In addition to collecting and showing models, I breed, train, and show Quarter Horses. My first love is the palomino horse and we have bred and raised several horses to PHBA World titles. I believe my roots in the real horse industry has helped me with my model showing success and I continue to show in both.
