For the first time, BreyerFest welcomes the amazing Jonathan Field! Horse trainer Jonathan Field knows a thing or two about second chances. After almost losing his hand in a freak work accident, he was inspired to take a new path and focus on his love of horses. He devoured natural horsemanship materials during his recovery, and as he healed, he applied what he’d learned to his own horses. Jonathan’s journey moved him to create his own natural horsemanship program in 2006. With the motto “Inspired by Horses,” he works with riders and horses to develop healthy partnerships based on the way a horse thinks and sees the world.

One of Jonathan's horses, a 1997 Quarter Horse named Hal, came to owner and trainer Jonathan Field at age 3 with aggression issues. The pair spent time learning to trust and communicate with each other and an amazing partnership between the two began. For many years, Hal accompanied Jonathan and performed at expos and events. Now semi-retired, he’s enjoying life on Jonathan’s ranch in Canada.
