EQUUS Film Festival will feature a special “BreyerFest version” of the documentary “Mustang Saviors” by filmmaker David Glossberg about Braveheart’s Therapeutic Riding Center in Illinois, offering rehabilitation programs, utilizing rescued Mustang horses, for veterans suffering from PTSD.

Founded in 2013 by Lisa Diersen, EQUUS Film Festival is the first event of its kind to offer a home to the storytellers, from around the world, of the horse through feature films, documentaries, video’s, commercials and short films as well as cultural elements of fine equestrian art and literature. The EQUUS Film Festival highlights and rewards the diverse and creative efforts of those who pay artistic homage to the horse.
