Novelisto D, the real horse that portrayed "Athansor" in Warner Brothers' Winter's Tale, will be a special guest at BreyerFest Silver Jubilee! Novelisto, better known as "Listo," will also be honored as a Breyer portrait model that will be available only at BreyerFest as a Store Special. He is a 16.3 h. PRE Andalusian stallion registered with the ILAHA and ANCCE registry. Bred by Denham Ranch, Listo's breeding comes from old military bloodlines and his show record includes many top wins across a variety of disciplines.

Winter's Tale, which was released on Valentine's Day, 2014 stars Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Connelley, Will Smith, Eva Marie Saint and more. The film is based on Mark Helprin's New York Times' best seller Winter's Tale. Listo was chosen for this role as he was best suited to portray the character of Athansor, a huge, beautiful white stallion with "guardian angel" qualities in that he appears from time to time to rescue the lead character Peter Lake (played by Colin Farrell) throughout his long life.

Renowned Hollywood horse trainers, Cari Swanson and Rex Peterson of Swanson Peterson Productions trained Listo for the film and will appear at BreyerFest with him. Listo underwent classical dressage training to skillfully accomplish the challenging stunts he was required to learn for the filming which took place primarily in New York City.
